It was really scary. Same thing happened to him with SmartPak's new fly spray also! We use Ultrashield and he still sneezes if I don't do it outside with the wind blowing away from him, but the Ecovet reaction was pretty scary. It also triggered my asthma, so please do use caution! Sorry, I don't have an awesome alternative.Mona Sterlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12077277801514781079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8381378815481359587.post-46613593551431153842017-07-01T05:07:51.590-07:002017-07-01T05:07:51.590-07:00Ewwwww. We do get nasty black flies and horse flies, but not quite as many waves of them as you do! Sounds like you have a solid "clothing" program for Theo, I'm interested to hear what you think of the Ecovet!TrainwreckInTealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10557554448624901955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8381378815481359587.post-73476976859053435182017-06-30T12:01:17.323-07:002017-06-30T12:01:17.323-07:00I worked for a year in NH at a girl scouts camp (I...I worked for a year in NH at a girl scouts camp (I ran their riding program) and the black flies were absolutely the worst part of it. Those things suck. And nothing seems to deter them. I have no advice since I never figured out how to solve it. We've had luck adding BugLyte to our horses' feed. My husband's mare used to rip her mane out itching every year and the buglyte stopped that. But we're in CA and don't have black flies so I don't know if it'd help with that.
